PRé is looking for full-time (80-100%) experienced Product & Support Specialist who will join our team in Amersfoort, the Netherlands preferable starting on 1 March 2022. What you will be doing

 As part of the SimaPro Support team, our aim is to empower and assist the growing number of SimaPro users worldwide. Whether it is helping them get the most of our software solutions or guiding them in developing LCA models to enable effective decision-making, joining the SimaPro Support team means working alongside a dedicated, enthusiastic group that always puts the user first.

As a Product & Support Specialist you are the first point of contact to SimaPro customers. You help them troubleshoot technical issues and give advice on using SimaPro for reaching their LCA goals. In addition, you will also be involved in the coordination and development of SimaPro – one of the leading LCA software worldwide. 

  • Provide excellent technical support in a timely fashion, following the service level agreements with customers.
  • Along with the current SimaPro Product Specialist, coordinate the development and implementation of new releases of SimaPro desktop, including acceptance testing.
  • Provide basic LCA modelling support in the form of LCA support packages to SimaPro users.
  • Develop and update support knowledge for internal and external audiences

What you will bring along

As a company that highly values diversity, curiosity, and collaborations, we are open to people from different professional and educational backgrounds. However, the ideal person for this role would fit the following criteria:  

  • You have HBO or above working and thinking level
  • More than 5 years of experience in software technical support  and/or LCA modelling
  • You have extensive knowledge and experience of LCA and using SimaPro
  • Affinity with sustainability is a must
  • You are a team player who shows this by actively seeking collaboration and who is open to support colleagues.
  • You are an organized, proactive and enthusiastic person with passion for sustainability
  • You are a great communicator with excellent command of English, spoken and written; Dutch is nice to have
  • You can work independently, think along and see opportunities for development.
  • You have EU citizenship or work permit
