As Sales team, we are the first point of contact and key representative of PRé and of our tool, SimaPro. We collaborate externally with our SimaPro partners and internally with other teams within PRé, such as Digital Solutions, Marketing and Communication, Finance, and Support, and advise and support them with our expertise. Our key activities include lead qualification, segmentation, closing, and retention. We are currently a team of four employees.

As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in meeting the objectives of our Sales team, apply your knowledge and expertise in sales to contribute to a more sustainable world, and learn and grow with us in an exciting role. What you will be doing

The main goals of this full-time (32-40 hours) position are to:

  • Support new business development by selling digital solutions based on the SimaPro platform.
  • Give live demonstrations of SimaPro, follow up on leads, and respond to incoming sales queries (including technical questions).
  • Manage the sales bid process by responding to RFIs and RFPs, coordinating feedback and input from the internal team, writing, costing, and preparing proposals.
  • Provide strategic and conceptual input for business transitions.
  • Manage accounts by building relationships with customers, following up on requests, negotiating contractual terms, and closing deals.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, products, and competitor landscapes.

What you will bring along

As a company that highly values diversity, curiosity, and collaborations, we are open to people from different professional and educational backgrounds. However, the ideal person for this role would fit the following criteria:  

  • HBO/WO degree or above in Environmental Sciences (preferably but not required).
  • More than 5 years of experience in sales in IT, environmental consulting, or similar companies.
  • Excellent presentation, writing, stakeholder management, customer relationship building, and collaboration skills.
  • Affinity with sustainability (tools) is a must, knowledge of LCA and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to distinguish primary and secondary issues, see the broader context, present, analyze, summarize, and nuance.
  • Proactive, customer-centric, team player, with a winning mentality.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is required, Dutch is a plus.
  • EU citizen or work permit for the Netherlands.
