The "Biodiversity for LCA practitioners" training was a very fruitful session . As a practitioner, it is not always easy to integrate biodiversity into conventional impact assessments. With the right combination of theory and real case studies, the session was really accessible and easy to follow. Now I feel better prepared to bring nature and ecosystems into sustainability decision-making!

I followed the ‘Effective LCA with SimaPro Craft’ training, given by Ana and Ellie. They were very knowledgeable and created a pleasant, clear structure for the training. Even without a background in LCA, I felt it was easy to follow and left feeling confident to start working with SimaPro Craft. What I liked most was the combination of theory with practical exercises and case studies, it was a well-balanced and engaging mix. My two key takeaways were: (1) a solid understanding of the LCA and LCIA steps, and (2) how methodological choices (e.g. system boundaries, functional unit) can significantly affect outcomes.

I attended the advanced Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) training by PRé Sustainability. What I appreciated the most was the well-structured approach of the course, which covered both the European Commission’s methodology and practical modeling exercises in SimaPro Craft. Two key takeaways for me were gaining hands-on experience with the Circular Footprint Formula and improving my understanding of data collection and quality assessment, especially in the context of emerging technologies. These insights are particularly valuable for my work with prospective LCA, where structured methods help navigate the uncertainties of limited data availability. I recently had the pleasure to attend the 'Effective LCA with SimaPro Desktop' organized by PRé Sustainability. The course was wonderfully organized from both the technical and the professional point of view. Excellent training. I liked the alternation of theory and practice: going through all the steps of an LCA and actually making one yourself (helped by the teachers) helps you to really experience things like design considerations, decisions about which input data to use, how to communicate about your LCA study to others, etc., more than when you "just" get a lecture or read a book about the topic. The course helps me to better explain to others what you can and cannot use an LCA for and to give a more informed answer to people who say that "with an LCA you can prove anything you wish".
